Charyl was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 1980 and in 1994 became a Civil Marriage Celebrant. She is a member of the Australian Marriage Celebrants Inc.

She is regularly nominated in the Australian Bridal Industry Awards as a Marriage celebrant and was most recently a finalist in 2009.

Charyl performs wedding ceremonies for couples throughout Sydney and surrounding areas. Charyl is first and foremost a people person. As a marriage celebrant, she is completely professional at all times. She has a friendly and relaxed style, which helps to make a sometimes stressful experience into the joyous and special occasion every wedding should be.

She encourages family members or children to be included in the ceremony, so that they may feel part of the special occasion. Couples can have as much input into designing their wedding ceremonies as they want.
